Practice Placements - Payment

Your Practice Placement as a second crew member can be paid if you have the right to work in that specific country and the service accepts United Kingdom qualifications.

If they do not, you can complete your practical shifts as an unpaid third crew member through one of our pre-approved Practical Placement partners in Mexico, Zimbabwe and the United Kingdom. These placements are for your own arrangement and account — see Practice Placements for the details and charges.
